About Me

About Me – Helen Baker-Pawling

Helping people feel good through movement has always been at the heart of what I do. Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide range of people—from complete beginners to those returning to exercise after a break—and I understand that everyone starts from a different place. That’s why I’ve created classes that are welcoming, supportive, and accessible to all.

I teach a variety of classes across Ryde, Wootton, and Lake, including Fitness Pilates, Paracise, Dance Fitness, and HIIT Interval training. This mix allows you to choose what suits your body, your goals, and your lifestyle—whether that’s a low-impact, joint-friendly session or something more energetic and challenging.

My approach is all about making exercise enjoyable and sustainable. I know how intimidating it can feel to walk into a class for the first time, so I make it a priority to create a relaxed, friendly environment where you can feel at ease from the moment you arrive. There’s no pressure, no judgement—just encouragement and support.

Many of my clients come to me looking to build confidence, improve their fitness, reduce aches and pains, or simply find something they enjoy. Seeing people grow in confidence, feel stronger, and become part of a community is one of the most rewarding parts of my job.

After more than two decades, I still genuinely love what I do. For me, it’s not just about exercise—it’s about helping you feel better in yourself, both physically and mentally.

If you’re looking for a class where you’ll feel supported, motivated, and part of something positive, I’d love to welcome you.
