Tai Chi Qigong Shibashi – Ryde, Isle of Wight
What is Tai Chi Qi Gong Shibashi?
Tai Chi Qi Gong Shibashi is a gentle exercise practice that combines the flowing movements of Tai Chi with the breathing and energy principles of Qi Gong.
The word Shibashi means "18 movements" in Chinese. The sequence consists of 18 slow, flowing exercises that are easy to learn and designed to improve health, balance and wellbeing.
The movements are performed slowly and mindfully, with coordinated breathing, helping both the body and mind to relax while improving mobility and confidence.
Unlike some forms of Tai Chi that involve learning long routines, Qi Gong Shibashi is simple, repetitive and suitable for beginners.
